Malt Advocate 82 points - Easy-going and uncluttered, but also not very complex. Balanced, straightforward notes of caramel, vanilla, creamed corn, subtle fruit, soft mint, and delicate cinnamon. A versatile bourbon: you won’t feel guilty using it in a cocktail, and it will do in a pinch to drink neat or with a splash of water.

Wine Enthusiast 85 points - Honey-colored with vibrant orange highlights, this Bourbon is aged at least four years. Give this spirit some time and space to breathe. The aroma has an almost gamy, meaty quality, laid over with vanilla, almond and caramel. On the palate, almond flavors give way to a rather hot and brawny but long caramel finish that dries to a pleasingly leathery tone. - K.N. (Jul 2012)

Simply, it is indisputable proof of John B. Stetson’s enduring pledge to “make things right, and the best they can be.” This bourbon is smooth enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks, yet flavorful enough to add to your favorite bourbon cocktails & mixed drinks.

Maturation reaches its peak when the whiskey has been aged to perfection in charred American oak barrels, adding a subtle level of smokiness to the sweetness of the corn. Exposure to the rackhouse elements allows the barrels do their part in creating a unique, one of a kind bourbon.
