One of Cecchi’s leading wines, Chianti Classico is exported all over the world. This is the wine with which the company is most closely identified. The Cecchi family has always believed in this denomination that represents the past, the present and, above all, the future of Tuscan wines.
The principal vine variety is, naturally, the Sangiovese.Fermentation is carried out in steel containers at a controlled temperature, after which is undergoes a period of ageing in small capacity oak barrels and barrique casks for about 12 months. Refining continues in the bottle for a minimum of three months.
With a intense ruby red colour tending to burgundy with ageing, a delicate fragrance, it has an intense and persistent flavour, its structure is broad and extremely well-balanced, with great harmony.
Excellent accompaniment to roasts and grilled meats.
A serving temperature of 18°C is recommended.
