The Saint Péray " The Sauvagères " is named after the grape variety Marsanne planted so called because in the wild in very hard granite soils . La Maison Paul Jaboulet Elder produced a Saint- Péray only still wine and the first vintage was the 1999 vintage .

|La Maison Paul Jaboulet Elder, is the story of a magical encounter between a generous soil on a hill along the Rhone and a family passion for the vine. Founded in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet (1807-1864) in Tain l'Hermitage, at the foot of the hill, the area will take off in the direction of his son, Paul and Henry. Since the descendants succeed to preside over a unique and demanding vineyard.
